euromobil SEI

SEI, designed by Marc Sadler for Euromobil, is a kitchen island conceived around the idea of the monolithic volume: clean, essential, self-contained. Unveiled at Salone del Mobile in Milan, the island integrates two Sea & Symphony lift mechanisms that allow elements to emerge on demand.

When the lifts are lowered and the elements closed, SEI returns to its sculptural, monolithic form.
The mechanism is operated by remote control and includes a safety feature: it pauses a few centimeters before full closure, prompting the user to confirm the movement is unobstructed before completing it.

A project where technology disappears into the object, serving the design without altering it.
