The single-guide version of the serving hatch stands out for its optional three-sided access, in addition to the single access (standard).

This proves essential when the serving hatch is positioned in a passageway between the crew area and the dining area, allowing simultaneous or alternating opening from both sides.

frequently asked questions

What is the difference between single-guide and dual-guide versions? + -
  • The main difference lies in the structure and accessibility. The single guide version uses a single central guide that leaves three sides free for access, allowing flexible use in transition areas between the crew area and dining area. The double guide version, with two side guides, is optimised for vertical installations that reach flybridges or sundecks, ensuring greater stability on longer routes.
What advantages does three-sided access offer in the single-guide version? + -
  • Access on three sides is essential when the serving hatch is located in a passageway between the crew area and the guest dining area. Thanks to the single central guide instead of two side guides, the compartment can be opened simultaneously or alternately from both sides, ensuring maximum operational flexibility.
Can the top opening of the double guide version be automated? + -

Yes, the top-opening flap is available in both manual and fully automated versions, depending on the specific requirements and preferences of the owner and the shipyard.

In which situations is the dual-drive version recommended? + -

The dual guide version is specifically recommended when the service needs to extend to the flybridge or sundeck, where significant differences in height must be overcome while maintaining the stability and safety of the system.
